they have both purebreds and a delightful array of loving mixes.So
much choice you are sure to find the perfect pet for you, lifelong
friends sitting there just waiting to make the connection and
bring so much joy to your life and home.
Your trip to the shelter for one of those animals could well
be the chance of life vs. death as sadly , many places can only
keep animals for so long.
Financially supporting your local shelter also makes sense for
$100 or slightly less you can take home your animal which comes
with shots or an appointment for shots and also spayed neutered
or paid surgery date and even includes microchip, what a great
deal all of these needed extras can cost three times as much
elsewhere.
If its really not the time to adopt an animal there are always
so many other ways that you can help and feel great, volunteer
to help out, help is needed in many ways,perhaps you could foster
animals, and meet great new people as well as the animals themselves,
donate food, money, blankets, whatever your shelter most needs
right now.But its important to get moving do something now,
take a trip to your local shelter and get involved.
Your will find there are always wonderful people, volunteers
who work tirleselesley giving endlessly of themselves and a
constant assortment of wonderful animals just waiting to make
your day. Meanwhile the local shelter in this my local area
has come up with a great way for individuals and companies to
get even more involved and to really make a difference by saving
lives.

County Animal Shelter is pleased to offer the public a unique
way to sponsor a kennel at our shelter. Sponsoring a shelter
means the dogs or cats occupying it throughout the year are
guaranteed to stay for as long as it takes to find them a new
home. Each sponsored kennel receives a plaque with your choice
of inscription.
Due to the sheer volume of people that come through our doors
daily, this is a great opportunity for your business, organization
or corporation to advertise to the public.
We can include your web address, phone number or mission statement
for example, it’s up to you. You can choose up to 3 phrases
and we will engrave it for you.
Another alternative is that a family can sponsor a kennel with
their name on it and a favorite inspirational statement. Or
you can even sponsor the kennel in the memory of someone special
in your life.
The choice is yours, but either way the shelter promises that
theoccupants of your kennel are taken care of and are safe until
adoption takes place. For example, in one year, one kennel could
house over 24 animals and you will effectively be saving all
these animals lives!
To sponsor a dog for 12 months costs $600. 6 months costs $300.
To sponsor a cat for 12 months costs $400. 6 months cost $200.

We are delighted to announce the production of Montgomery County
Animal Shelter’s first annual calendar to raise money
for the sick and injured animals in our care.
The calendar will be available in October of this year and
we are taking pre-orders right now. We are very lucky to have
two extremely talented local photographers who have donated
their time and services. They have produced some stunning photographs
of our shelter animals which will appear in the calendar. They
have gone beyond mere snapshots of the animals and actually
captured their spirits on camera. We appreciate your time and
efforts, thank you ladies!
The calendar this year is produced with a sepia theme, which
we hope you will enjoy. The result is truly eye-catching. This
will make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone who loves animals,
or once you see it, we guarantee you will want one for yourselves!
This beautiful calendar costs just $15.
All proceeds from the sale of each calendar goes directly towards
the veterinary costs incurred whilst saving the lives of the
animals brought into our shelter on a daily basis.
